Join Surrey County Council’s Children with Disabilities team as an Advanced Social Worker. Work from home and on‑site in Guildford, supporting children across a range of statutory services including Child Protection, Looked‑After Children and Child and Family Assessments.

* Salary £47,884 – £51,175 per annum plus a financial package of up to £6,000

About Working In The Children With Disability Service
You will join a service with stable, committed leadership and a focus on partnership with families. We collaborate closely with adult services to ensure smooth transitions into adulthood and work alongside safeguarding and looked‑after children teams.
Responsibilities
* Manage complex child and family cases across statutory services
* Line‑manage Family Support Workers, providing personal and professional supervision
* Support joint visits where family needs are escalating and where referral for further assessment is required
* Advocate for children and young people, ensuring their rights and best interests are protected
* Participate in county‑wide learning activities and a clear professional development pathway
* Deliver high‑quality supervision with a firm commitment to the work you do with children and families
Qualifications
* Qualified Social Work degree and Social Work England registration
* Car driver with a valid UK licence
* ASYE completed within two years of qualifying
* UK social work experience
* Three post‑qualified years of experience
