About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated QTS English Teacher to join our vibrant English team. You will inspire students through high-quality teaching of language and literature, foster a love of reading and writing, and help every student to achieve their potential.
You will:
* Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons across Key Stages 3 & 4 (KS5 experience desirable).
* Use assessment and data to drive progress and close gaps.
* Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment with strong routines and high expectations.
* Contribute to curriculum development and the creation of high-quality resources.
* Support students with SEND and EAL needs and work collaboratively with colleagues and parents.
* Participate in whole-school initiatives and professional development.

About You
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism or strong subject knowledge in English.
* Demonstrate consistently good or outstanding classroom practice and measurable impact on student progress.
* Confident teaching literature, language and literacy across KS3/KS4 (and KS5 if applicable).
* Skilled in behaviour management, differentiation and formative assessment.
* A committed team player with excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Committed to safeguarding, inclusion and raising aspirations for all young people.
