As a Payment Operations Specialist, you will ensure timely and accurate settlement of payments, contributing to Morgan's leadership in clearing, custody, operations, and technology solutions.
As a Payment Operations Specialist within the EMEA Payments Operations Team, you will support the timely settlement of payments for our global clients. You will work in a dynamic environment, managing transaction activities and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Job responsibilities:
1. Monitor transaction activity and control settlement timeframes for fund transfers.
2. Repair payment transactions to ensure accuracy.
3. Verify transactions to meet compliance standards.
4. Process manual instructions for global currencies.
5. Review, research, and process incoming funds transfers, ensuring accurate client account crediting or returning funds to the remitting bank.
6. Lead or contribute to operational improvement initiatives and projects as directed by the Operations Manager.
7. Support incident management and remediation as required.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
1. Previous experience in an operational, financial services, or customer services environment.
2. Strong written and oral communication skills.
