Milk Education are currently recruiting a Behaviour Mentor to work across Primary schools in Washington, supporting pupils with social, emotional and behavioural needs.
This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who are passionate about making a difference and helping children overcome barriers to learning.
The Role:
1. Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
2. Working with children with SEMH, SEND or behavioural needs
3. Implementing behaviour support strategies
4. Supporting emotional regulation and positive engagement
5. Working closely with class teachers, SENCOs and senior leaders
We’re Looking For:
6. Experience working with children or young people (school-based or transferable experience)
7. Strong behaviour management skills
8. A calm, patient and resilient approach
9. The ability to build positive and trusting relationships
10. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
