Job Description
* Lead, develop and hold accountable a team of field engineers and subcontractors
* Build a strong performance culture – dealing with underperformance and raising standards
* Define and implement structure, processes, and governance across the function
* Take ownership of resource planning, subcontractor strategy, and team growth
* Embed a robust H&S and compliance culture that stands up to scrutiny
* Act as the go‑to leader for field operations across the business
Beneficial Skills / Experience
* Track record of managing and developing engineers in the field
* Confidence handling performance issues, recruitment, and team structure decisions
* Strong leadership presence – decisive, direct, and accountable
* Understanding of the commercial reality of running a field function
* Deep care for quality, standards, and doing the job properly
* Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, no‑nonsense environment

Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours)
