Senior Sales Manager / Business Development Manager As a Senior Sales Manager / Business Development Manager you will be driving new business growth across the UK, USA, and other designated international markets. This position will focus on promoting a comprehensive product and service portfolio within the Oil & Gas and Offshore sectors. This role is located in Redhill. This Company is a leading provider of Satellite Communications and IT support services, with a strong presence in the Government and Maritime sectors. Senior Sales Manager / Business Development Manager Responsibilities: Driving hardware, airtime, and smart service plan sales across both established and emerging markets. Strengthening our solutions offering by collaborating with Business Development and Service departments. Managing and mentoring a small international team of two direct reports (one in the UK, one in the Netherlands). Acting as a key liaison between clients and senior management to relay feedback that contributes to ongoing product and service improvements. Identify, promote, and close sales opportunities with new and existing clients. Respond promptly to sales enquiries distributed by the Group Sales Director. Develop and maintain strong, multi-level relationships within assigned accounts. Coordinate closely with Technical Services to ensure seamless service delivery. Provide consistent sales support for key accounts and follow up on all service requests to enhance customer loyalty. Prepare and deliver accurate quotations in line with internal pricing guidelines. Maintain awareness of customer activity and market developments. Keep CRM and sales databases up to date with leads and opportunity tracking. Create and maintain account plans for key customers and regions. Develop sales budgets, forecasts, and performance reports as needed. Ensure contracts and purchase orders are secured in time to meet customer delivery requirements. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all company products and services. Requirements of Senior Sales Manager / Business Development Manager Expected to independently manage day-to-day work while exercising sound judgment and strong commercial awareness. Eligible to obtain and maintain UK SC. Strong background in maritime NAVCOM solution sales. Solid understanding of end-user needs in the maritime market. Commercially astute with strong customer focus. Self-motivated and proactive with excellent interpersonal and team skills. Comfortable engaging with both engineers and executive stakeholders. Willingness to travel extensively (up to 2 weeks at a time) and work flexibly, including outside of standard hours when needed. Must be able to travel internationally as required Travel to the main office based in Redhill at least twice a week
