Job Overview
Position: Early Education Development Advisor (Full time, 37 hours per week, Permanent)
Location: Hybrid (home and Leicester City Offices)
Salary: £35,412 – £38,220 per year
Benefits: Total benefit value £52,115.74 per year (including pension contribution and full holiday entitlement)
Responsibilities
* Guide and support early years and childcare providers to meet statutory requirements and improve the quality of provision.
* Manage a caseload of early years & childcare settings and childminders.
* Provide advice and guidance to help improve practice, support outcomes for children, and ensure compliance with the EYFS framework.
* Support providers through the registration journey to their first full Ofsted inspection and assist with Ofsted actions.
* Conduct visits, provide telephone support and sign‑post providers to tools and resources.
* Develop and deliver professional development opportunities to the early‑years workforce.
* Attend face‑to‑face meetings, team meetings, supervision and project related meetings.
Qualifications
* Significant experience working in the early years and childcare sector.
* Experience in supporting, developing practitioners and improving quality of provision.
* Experience developing and delivering workforce development opportunities, training, events, tools and resources.
* In‑depth knowledge of early years and childcare frameworks, EYFS curriculum and safeguarding practice.
* Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
* Proficient IT skills and strong written communication.
