We are recruiting for an experienced and enthusiastic Assistant Manager in 1 of our 7 retail food outlets across the City of London and Canary Wharf .
Birleys has been the home of the finest breakfast and lunch sandwiches, platters, buffets, soups and salads since the early 1980S.
As an Assistant Manager your duties will include, but not limited to :
- Preparation, presentation and the sale of hot and cold sandwiches and salads from our deli style counters
- Manage a team up to 14 staff, maintaining high standards and providing excellent customers service.
- Be focused, passionate and well organised with the ability to handle pressure whilst working flexible hours as required by the operations.
- Assisting the manager in the control of food and labour costs as well as staff rotas, food ordering and stock control
- Ensuring health and safety and food safety standards are continuously met
- Maintaining high standards across the day to day operations of the store
- 5 days a week between Monday to Sunday with some flexibility required
