We are looking for an outstanding Solution Owner, with experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex HRIS solutions. The Solution Owner will lead a small team of SME’s with a particular focus on HR and Talent modules.
This role is both strategic and hands-on, with a requirement to demonstrate understanding business requirements and processes with the ability to configure system infrastructure and solutions. In addition to communicating with and managing stakeholders, the People Tech Solution Owner will be process-driven, highly analytical and organised. This is a key role in the People team, charged with delivering HRIS solutions seamlessly using effective planning and innovative solution ideas.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
* Act as the lead product SME for all the HR and Talent related products responsible for its design, governance, maintenance, and continuous improvements.
* Lead a team of SME’s
* Liaise with senior stakeholders to ascertain business requirements alongside understanding business process requirements
* Develop systemic solutions to best suit the Groups requirements
* Foster a collaborative environment within the SME project team driving excellence from the front
* Coordinate your team for the following activities: compliance, testing, BAU change management, consistency in design, documentation management and more
* Manage the output and schedules for the HR Solution team, prioritising, delegating, and reporting on actions as they arise
* Maintain an understanding of legislative requirements for all HR and Talent related functions.
* Work collaboratively with BAU teams to ensure procedures and system use are embedded effectively, with a continuous improvement mind set
* Design, build and test integrations between HR and Talent solution and other product workstreams (e.g. Workforce Management, Pay)
Skills/Experience/Knowledge:
* Previous experience in HR/People systems essential (ideally Dayforce)
* Ability to consider and evaluate solutions to problems under own initiative essential
* Previous experience in leading and developing a team essential
* Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
* Strong communication skills both written and oral
* Confident and courteous in dealing with internal and external stakeholders
* High level of attention to detail with strong administrative and organisational skills and be able to prioritise your own and your team’s workload
* Must be methodical and be able to work to strict deadlines
* Have an awareness of GDPR and be able to act with absolute discretion and confidentiality
