About the role:
In this Pallet Network Clerk role, you will manage a fleet covering the "L" and partial "PA" postcodes, ensuring flawless coordination between their customers, depots, and drivers. This is a hands-on role in their bustling traffic office where your expertise can truly shine. You will work 9 hours Monday – Friday, with a 1-hour lunch break.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
* Input jobs into their internal traffic system with precision
* Liaise effectively with local depots to ensure seamless operations
* Communicate efficiently with drivers to keep deliveries and collections on schedule
* Offer proactive support to drivers facing on-road challenges
* Manage paperwork with excellence, uploading PODs and planning driver runs
* Allocate nightly trunk jobs to maximise trailer capacity
* Ensure accuracy in delivery bookings and paperwork matching
* Conduct daily input and invoicing of customer charges
About you:
You should have previous experience in pallet network-specific operations and be highly organised. A solid understanding of health and safety standards, a valid Category B driving licence, and excellent geographical knowledge of the Liverpool area are required. Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, and effective communication skills with all levels of management are essential, along with meeting KPIs. An FLT licence would be advantageous, but your dedication and commitment are what truly set you apart.
