Description
* Develop and implement strategic procurement processes
* Lead negotiation with suppliers to secure advantageous terms
* Manage relationships with key suppliers to maintain quality of goods, timely delivery and compliance to terms of contracts
* Control spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs
* Anticipate and manage any supply chain risks
* Develop a comprehensive strategy for logistics management and distribution
* Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement within the team
* Ensure compliance with all relevant UK and EU laws and financial regulations
* Responsible for contract negotiation, commercial terms, renews and end-to-end procurement.
Profile
A successful Commercial Manager should have:
* A degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration
* Proven working experience as a procurement manager or officer with 10+yrs experience
* Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as a knack for reading the market
* stakeholder management
* Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers
* Experience in collecting and analysing data
* Strong leadership capabilities
Job Offer
* Salary aim: 90,000 give or take base + package
