Vehicle Technician Required in Nelson
1. Hours: Monday - Friday & 1-in-2 Saturday
2. Salary: £30k-£32k basic, approximately £35k OTE (Negotiable depending on experience)
Our client, one of the UK’s largest car dealership groups, is looking for an experienced Technician to join their team. This well-established dealership, with locations across the country, is known for delivering exceptional service and is an official franchised dealer for several renowned car and commercial vehicle brands.
Key Responsibilities for this Vehicle Technician role:
3. Perform a wide range of technical tasks, including general servicing, repairs, diagnostics, and larger repairs.
4. Ensure high standards of workmanship in a busy dealership environment.
5. Exhibit attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
6. Work closely with team members to meet operational objectives.
What We’re Looking For in a Vehicle Technician:
7. Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair; NVQ Level 3 preferred.
8. Experience in a dealership setting is ideal, but candidates from independent garages will also be considered.
9. MOT Licence preferred, but not essential.
10. Strong technical expertise and a solid work ethic.
11. Full UK driving licence.
