We are currently recruiting for an experienced Cladding & Roofing Estimator with a well established sub-contractor delivering high-quality, complex envelope solutions based in Central Lancashire with a sharp eye for detail and a proven track record in delivering high-quality, complex envelope solutions.
You'll be joining an existing Commercial function reporting into the Commercial Director reviewing and conduction tender documents, specifications, and architectural drawings related to roofing (e.g., single-ply, liquid, felt, metal) and cladding (e.g., composite panels, rainscreen systems).
This role is crucial to securing new projects where you'll be preparing accurate, competitive, and timely tender submissions. You will manage the entire estimating process from initial inquiry to final submission and negotiation.
If successful, you'll be employed directly by our client on a permanent contract.
What you'll be doing:
1. Review and interpret tender documents, specifications, and architectural drawings related to roofing (e.g., single-ply, liquid, felt, metal) and cladding (e.g., composite panels, rainscreen systems).
2. Conduct accurate take-offs and quantity surveying of materials and labor required for projects of varying sizes.
