Join to apply for the Quality Engineer role at Kier Group. We are seeking a Full Time Quality Engineer to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear and Networks team. This role will be working in our Environment Sector in alliance with The Environment Agency on the Bridgwater Tidal Barrier major project.
Location: Bridgwater Tidal Barrier, Somerset, Bridgewater
Hours: 45 Hours per week
Responsibilities
* Interface with the delivery team engineers internal quality team and Client Surveillance team and quality representatives.
* Implementing and ensuring adherence to project procedures, scope, specification, Project Execution Plan (PEP), Project Quality Plan and British/ International Standards.
* Understand the requirements of product traceability, including product movements, physical product checks, delivery ticket and Certificate of Conformity checks, and approving products for use onsite, material acceptance forms (MAF).
* Review of quality documentation, including Lifetime Quality Records, End of Construction Records (ECSR), Product Approval Records and project procedures.
* Carry out quality site inspections to ensure compliance with standards, drawings, and specifications.
What we’re looking for
* Demonstration of knowledge and practical application of quality control activities in construction.
* Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
* Ability to keep clear and accurate records and reports.
* Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card.
