Business Development Manager - Water Hygience Specialist Reddbrick are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join an established team. Business Development Manager - Water Hygiene Specialist role overview: As the Business Development Manager for Water Hygiene Services, you will be responsible for identifying and capitalising on business opportunities within the water hygiene and compliance sector. You will play a key role in developing new relationships, nurturing existing client accounts, and achieving revenue targets. This is a client-facing, results-driven role that requires a mix of technical knowledge, strong sales expertise, and excellent communication skills. Biusiness Development Manager - Key Responsibilities: * Identify New Business Opportunities: Generate and qualify leads, prospect potential clients, and develop strategies to target key markets in water hygiene services, including healthcare, industrial, and commercial sectors. * Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing clients, ensuring their water hygiene needs are met and identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling services. * Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets. Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to contract negotiation and closing. * Consultative Selling: Provide expert advice on water hygiene services, including Legionella risk assessments, water treatment, and water system maintenance. Customise solutions to meet client-specific requirements. * Market Analysis: Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify business development opportunities. Use this data to drive innovation and differentiate our service offerings. * Collaboration: Work closely with the operations, technical, and compliance teams to ensure client needs are met and services are delivered on time and to high standards. * Reporting & Forecasting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, revenue forecasts, and client interactions. Report regularly on progress toward targets. Skills & Experience: * Proven experience in business development or sales management within the water hygiene, facilities management, or environmental services sectors. * Strong understanding of water hygiene regulations (e.g., Legionella, HTM 04-01) and the ability to communicate technical aspects of water treatment and risk management. * Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships and close deals. * Demonstrable track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and growing business in a competitive market. * Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to tailor solutions to the needs of clients. * Full UK driving license (or regional driving requirement) for travel to client sites.
