Our Client has a requirement for a Senior Document Controller, who will be required to work on a contract basis in Basingstoke. Role Purpose: The candidate will support the project in all aspects related to technical, contractual, and administrative document management. Job Role Responsibilities: • Control and management of documentation issued by Contractors/Suppliers; • Preparation of transmittals for document exchange with 3rd parties; • Provision of training to Contractors/Suppliers on Document Management Systems and processes; • Preparation of progress reports (e.g. documents issued vs planned, forecast of deliverables to be issued etc); • Collaboration with other project functions to prepare/update documentation (e.g. Management Procedures) • Management of the information exchanged with 3rd parties (Government, project partners etc); • Attending meetings and workshops as required; • Archiving of all correspondence and administrative documentation. Experience / Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications: • Relevant experience as a Document Controller in the O&G industry particularly with operating companies. • Experience with SharePoint is necessary. • Experience in the use of the Eni EDMS (Assai) is beneficial. • Good written and spoken communication skills.
