M & E Estimator – Loughton
SSA are currently working with a respected mechanical and electrical (M&E) contractor delivering high‑quality engineering solutions across commercial, residential, healthcare, and technology sectors.
We are seeking an experienced M&E Estimator to join the commercial team at Loughton. The role will involve preparing accurate tenders, cost plans, and quotations for mechanical and electrical packages, ensuring competitive bids and profitable project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare detailed M&E estimates and tender submissions.
* Analyse drawings, specifications, and contract documents to produce accurate costings.
* Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations.
Ideal Candidate
* Proven experience as an M&E Estimator in construction or building services contracting.
* Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services (HVAC, plumbing, LV distribution, lighting, power, fire alarms, etc.).
* Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tender deadlines
