Job Title: Commissioning Project Leader – Electrical

What you’ll be doing:
* Responsible for leading a team of Electrical Engineers in the Propulsion Test Section
* Review and plan training and development of electrical engineers within the section
* Be a signing member of the Propulsion test group
* Responsible for planning and supervising commissioning activities
* Reviewing and authoring test documentation in relation to the Propulsion test section
* Responsible for overseeing Electrical Rip outs for the Propulsion section
* Deputise for the Propulsion manager in their absence and act as temporary lead, covering all Propulsion section meeting
* Liaise with other test departments to ensure safe control of work
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
* Knowledge of either Propulsion or Power Distribution systems from either commissioning or maintenance experience
* Experience of SAP
* Good understanding and experience of Safe Systems of Work
* Experience of reviewing electrical and technical documentation and drawings
Desirable:
* Previous Team leader / Supervisory experience
* Ideally have a min of HNC in an Electrical Engineering subject
* Review and approval of electrical isolations (Rip-Out/Tag-outs)

The Test & Commissioning Team:
As a Commissioning Project Leader – Electrical, you will beresponsible for commissioning of all propulsion electrical systems across Astute submarines. You will be Managing daily commissioning activities of the team and reporting into the commissioning manager. In this role you will you have the opportunity to work across multiple platforms giving you exposure to different systems and technologies.You will be given lots of training to develop further within your career.
