Salary : £12.89 plus TRONC, Paid Weekly!
Hours : Full Time, 40 hours | 08.00-17.00 & 12.00-22.00
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Restaurant Kitchen Porter for the Bamford Collection, you will play a vital role in supporting the restaurant and kitchen team by maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised working environment across back-of-house areas. Working in a fast-paced and dynamic setting, you will ensure that all equipment, utensils, and workspaces are kept to the highest standards, enabling the chefs and restaurant team to deliver exceptional food and service. You will need to be a proactive and reliable individual with strong stamina, a positive attitude, with the ability to work efficiently as part of a team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across back-of-house areas, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
* Follow all food safety, hygiene, and company policies at all times.
* Wash and store kitchen equipment, utensils, crockery, and glassware efficiently and to a high standard.
* Support chefs and the wider kitchen team by ensuring workstations are clean, organised, and well stocked.
* Assist with basic food preparation tasks as required.
* Ensure waste is managed and disposed of correctly in line with company procedures.
* Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and report any shortages or maintenance issues.
* Work collaboratively with the restaurant and kitchen team to support a smooth and efficient service.
* Maintain a high level of organisation and efficiency during busy service periods.
SKILLS YOU WILL BRING
* Previous experience in a kitchen or catering environment is desirable but not essential.
* Strong work ethic with reliability and punctuality.
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
* Attention to detail and commitment to hygiene standards.
* Physical stamina and the ability to handle manual tasks, including lifting and standing for long periods.
* A team player with a positive attitude.
* Professional personal presentation and communication skills in English.
