We are now seeking an inspiring Operations Manager - Apprenticeships - Assessing to play a critical role in ensuring high-quality delivery, statutory compliance and outstanding outcomes across out apprenticeship provision at the Aerospace Skills Academy. This role will be based at the Aerospace Skills Academy in Filton. Why Join us? About the role In this role, you will: Lead the operational management, quality assurance and statutory compliance of the apprenticeship assessment provision across the Aerospace Skills Academy. Ensure full compliance with DfE Apprenticeship Funding Rules, apprenticeship standards and assessment plans, maintaining audit-ready systems and evidence. Line manage and develop a team of apprenticeship assessors, setting clear expectations around caseload management, performance, quality and learner progress. Oversee the effective use of Individualised Learner Records (ILRs) and associated data to ensure funding accuracy and assurance readiness. Support Employer and learner readiness for end point assessments, including gateway processes and coordination with EPAOs. This is a full-time role, working 37 hours per week. About you: We are looking for someone who will bring: A strong understanding of apprenticeship compliance, quality assurance and funding requirements. Significant experience within apprenticeship delivery or assessment, including regulatory and audit considerations. Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop teams, with confidence in challenging underperformance and driving improvement. Experience working effectively with employers, internal stakeholders and external bodies. A Teaching Qualification at Level 4 or above.
