We are pleased to be working in partnership with a leading global manufacturer and distributor of test measurement solutions and production supplies. With a long-standing success story and a portfolio of specialised products, they proudly support the aerospace, defence, automotive, electronics, education, and medical industries. As the company continues to expand, they are looking to onboard a Head of Marketing, to develop, own and execute a brand-new European Marketing strategy.
In the exciting and challenging role, the Head of Marketing will hold responsibilities for supplier marketing, brand marketing, digital marketing, graphic design, and public relations. As part of the Europe Leadership Team, they will report to the VP Europe and directly manage a small team, as well as work with offshore teams. They will bring structure and clarity to all marketing functions and deliver a mixture of digital and traditional marketing techniques.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Manage and oversee the marketing budget, making critical decisions on marketing mix and performance
* Lead the day-to-day operation of the marketing team including prioritisation, recruitment and development of the team
* Establish key performance indicators for the team and communicate results on a regular basis
* Manage the marketing plan and develop campaigns to increase awareness of the brand and its value propositions
* Develop and manage marketing calendar (launches, trade shows, campaigns, & co-marketing)
* Propose and manage marketing research to measure brand awareness, customer satisfaction and customer experience
* New customer acquisition through eCommerce, Marketplaces and any future digital channels
* Overall digital experience for regional web properties, including new web properties from future acquisitions
* Overall customer experience when interacting with any digital channel within Europe
* Digital product content for all regional web properties. Content should be rich (and correlate with tier of supplier) with the goal of answering common customer questions so the customer will not need to reach out through phone, chat or email
* Inbound marketing through SEO, paid search etc
This is a senior leadership role where strategic vision and execution are essential. The Head of Marketing will be highly organised, proactive, and comfortable working at pace in a fast‑growth environment. They will be used to working with autonomy and accountability. The successful candidate will come from a senior marketing role and hold at least 5 years’ of experience which covers the full marketing mix within a B2B environment. They will hold proven leadership experience and a good level of gravitas, with technical capabilities in Marketo, CRM, CMS, Shopify and other related tools. A background in electronics, manufacturing or distribution would be a distinct advantage, but not essential.
