In-house Employment Counsel 4 PQE South Coast - 2 days a week in the office Employment focus SSQ are delighted to be partnered with a major employer on the South Coast to secure them a new, additional senior employment counsel. This position will manage senior employment queries and have responsibilities across policy, mentoring and all other commercial employment legal queries. This position is suited to someone 4 - 7PQE based in the South West. Responsibilities: As Senior Employment Counsel, your role will be to provide expert legal guidance and provide the strategic vision and direction and management of employment legal issues. You will carry out a wide range of legal work and provide advice and guidance, as well as negotiate and resolve disputes. Responsibility for line management and mentoring of a trainee solicitor or apprentice solicitor within the legal team. Management of all employment contracts including employment Contracts; Pay Disputes; termination and cessation of employment; TUPE issues and oversight of Employment Tribunals Application Criteria: A qualified Solicitor or Barrister with a minimum of 4 years of post-qualification experience.
