About The Role
As a Multi‑Skilled Engineer, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our production sites running safely and efficiently. You’ll work with a wide range of modern food manufacturing equipment, carrying out planned maintenance, responding to breakdowns, and improving reliability across our lines.
Every day brings a different challenge, and your expertise will help ensure food is produced safely, on time, and to the highest standards.
4 on 4 off 6am - 6pm and 6pm - 6am
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on production and packaging equipment.
* Diagnose faults and complete first‑time fixes to reduce downtime.
* Work with both mechanical and electrical systems across automated production lines.
* Maintain high standards of health, safety and food safety at all times.
* Record work clearly using site systems and follow engineering processes.
* Identify recurring issues and contribute ideas that improve reliability and performance.
* Work closely with production and engineering colleagues across shifts.
* Escalate complex or unresolved issues in line with site procedures.
About You
* Proven experience within a manufacturing environment.
* Mechanical and electrical engineering skills with a relevant qualification focused on electrical engineering.
* Confidence in fault‑finding on automated machinery and production equipment.
* Proactive approach with the ability to prioritise effectively under pressure.
* Strong attention to detail and a focus on doing the job right the first time.
* Collaborative mindset and clear communication skills.
