Shift Manager – The Vault Distribution Centre, Speke
Shift Pattern
Monday - Friday rotation: week 1 = 06:00am – 14:00, week 2 = 14:00 – 22:00.
What you’ll be doing
Lead, motivate, and develop your network of Team Managers and Warehouse Operatives to achieve performance targets safely, efficiently, and in line with company standards. Inspire continuous improvement and maintain our “Best in Class” logistics operation.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Lead, coach and develop your network of Team Managers and Warehouse Colleagues to deliver operational excellence
* Drive a culture of continuous improvement across all operational departments
* Identify and implement initiatives that enhance productivity, efficiency and quality of service, whilst aligning with company goals and policy
* Support recruitment and workforce planning, managing labour costs effectively
* Champion best practice with Health and Safety, ensuring compliance and proactive risk management throughout your team

You’ll need to have:
* Previous warehouse management experience
* Strong warehouse operational knowledge and experience
* Proven ability to build positive, professional relationships at all levels

* Excellent communication, planning and organisational skills
* A flexible, solutions‑focused approach to problem solving
