Senior Waste & Recycling Administrator
The Waste Strategy and Technical Support team works across our in-house waste operations (domestic and commercial), street cleaning and fleets departments. We improve the Council’s operational services and support business as usual activity. We focus on supporting, developing and delivering initiatives that improve council operations cost efficiency and deliver performance improvements in nationally reported KPI’s. We also develop and deliver income generation programmes. An opportunity has arisen to work with the Waste Strategy and Technical Support team to lead on administering the Council's £1.85m garden waste subscription service while providing specialist responses to resident enquiries and assisting with team projects.

This role is office based currently located at Woking Road Depot, Woking Road, Guildford GU1 1QE. All waste operations, including this role, will be relocated to a newly built depot on Slyfield Industrial Estate in 2026.
