Tradewind Recruitment is working with a supportive school in Runcorn to recruit a dedicated Behaviour Mentor. This full-time role is ideal for someone with experience supporting pupils with behavioural, emotional, or social needs who is passionate about helping young people re-engage with learning.
You will work closely with pupils who require additional behavioural support, helping them develop positive coping strategies, emotional regulation, and confidence within the school environment.
The role will involve:
1. Supporting pupils with behavioural and emotional needs on a 1:1 or small-group basis
2. Implementing behaviour support plans and de-escalation strategies
3. Supporting pupils to manage emotions and build positive relationships
4. Working closely with teaching staff, SENCOs, and pastoral teams
5. Helping pupils re-engage with learning and school routines
This role is ideal for:
6. Behaviour Mentors, Learning Mentors, or Pastoral Support staff
7. Psychology, Criminology, or Youth Work graduates
8. Candidates with experience supporting SEMH, ASD, or challenging behaviour
9. Calm, resilient, and confident individuals
