We’re looking for an experienced, passionate and customer focused Welding Sales Engineer, based in the North of England, to become an integral member of our Fronius Welding team.
In this field‑based role, you’ll take ownership of your territory - developing existing customer relationships while identifying and winning new business. Combining your technical welding knowledge with commercial drive, you’ll play a key role in growing our presence and delivering outstanding customer outcomes.
In this role, your responsibilities will include:
Present and demonstrate Fronius welding solutions, clearly communicating technical features and customer benefitsCreate technical quotations and lead commercial negotiations to close dealsBuild, grow and manage long‑term customer relationshipsDeliver welding demonstrations and trials, supported by our Welding Application EngineersRepresent Fronius at trade shows, exhibitions and industry eventsMaintain accurate customer data and sales activity within our CRM system (MS Dynamics)Plan and manage your sales activity in line with business objectives and strategyWe're looking for someone with the following skills and experience:
A proven sales background, ideally within welding or a related technical industryStrong business development skills and a customer‑first mindsetPractical and theoretical knowledge of arc welding; experience with advanced systems is a plusConfidence in producing technical and commercial proposalsExcellent organisation, communication and project management skillsStrong network within the UK welding industryComfortable using CRM systems (MS Dynamics preferred, training provided)Strong IT skills (Microsoft Word & Excel)Welding certifications are an advantage, not essentialWillingness to travel across the region, to our Milton Keynes HQ, and occasionally to Austria to business and trainingFluent English and a valid UK driving licenceYour Benefits
