Job Title: Lead Generation Executive Location: Lutterworth Job type: Full time Fixed Term Contract for 23 Months Welcome to ZEISS. We are now looking to welcome a driven and ambitious Internal Lead Generator to join our Industrial Quality Solutions (IQS) team as part of a new Trainee Program based in Lutterworth. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated sales professional with a passion for building relationships, spotting opportunities, and contributing to a high-performance team. About the Role As an Internal Lead Generator, you’ll play a key role in our commercial team – generating qualified leads, prospecting new business opportunities, and helping to feed the sales funnel for our field-based Account Managers. You’ll be actively identifying and engaging with decision-makers across our target sectors, reactivating lapsed accounts, and sparking interest in ZEISS's cutting-edge products and services. This is more than just a telesales role – it's a career-building opportunity. You’ll receive ongoing training, the chance to shadow experienced sales professionals, and gain exposure to world-class metrology and quality assurance solutions. Key Responsibilities Conduct targeted outbound calls, emails and social media outreach to engage new and lapsed prospects Qualify leads and book meetings for the external sales team Research and identify key decision-makers in target markets Maintain accurate CRM records and dashboards in Salesforce Collaborate with marketing, applications, and service teams to maximise opportunities Support internal campaign follow-up and lead nurturing activity Build your technical product knowledge and contribute to a growing sales pipeline What We’re Looking For At least 18 months experience in telesales, lead generation, or inside sales Confident communicator with a proactive and engaging phone manner Strong organisational skills and ability to manage your own workload Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) A passion for learning technical solutions – you don’t need to be an engineer, but you should be curious and commercially minded Full UK driving licence (for occasional field shadowing) What’s in It for You Competitive Salary & OTE Office hours: Monday to Thursday 08:30–17:15, Friday 08:30–16:00, 1 hour lunch Full product and sales training with real career progression opportunities Company pension scheme Work for a global innovation leader in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment This role is ideal for someone with the hunger to grow, the confidence to engage, and the resilience to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
