We’re looking for a Yard Operative to join us at Civils & Lintels in Bolton! Civils & Lintels aims to consistently exceed customer expectations, focusing on people and training.
About the role
As a Yard Operative, you will work in one of our depots as part of a team providing excellent customer service and efficient yard operations. You will report to the Yard Supervisor and Branch Management Team.
Key responsibilities
* Serve customers safely and professionally
* Maintain high health and safety standards on sites and in depots
* Be a face of Civils & Lintels, delivering outstanding customer service
* Create a close working relationship with your team
* Load and unload customers’ and suppliers’ vehicles
* Pick and prepare orders for collection and delivery
Qualifications and skills
We understand you’re more than your CV, but the following are preferred:
* Basic knowledge of yard operations
* Good communication and teamwork
* Forklift truck licence is an advantage
