The business is looking for someone ambitious who can not only manage and retain this portfolio but also develop it further, driving new business and growth opportunities. Key Responsibilities
• Proactively generate new business opportunities through networking, prospecting, and referrals.
• Build and manage a strong pipeline of commercial prospects across multiple sectors.
• Meet with clients to understand their insurance requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
• Work with insurer partners to negotiate competitive terms and bespoke cover.
• Collaborate with the wider broking and account handling teams to ensure a seamless client experience.
• Deliver on ambitious sales targets, contributing directly to the growth of the regional business.
What We’re Looking For
• Proven track record of winning new commercial insurance business (SME, mid-market, or corporate).
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Confident self-starter who thrives on autonomy and results.
• Excellent market knowledge across multiple lines of commercial insurance.
• Ability to engage with business owners, directors, and decision-makers.
