Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Night Support Worker, you will be part of our Lancashire Young People Supported Accommodation services, assisting 18 young individuals (aged 16-21) at two locations: Parker House and The Bridge in Chorley. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Providing security, peace of mind, and companionship to young people during out-of-office hours.
* Ensuring the physical, social, and emotional support of the young residents.
* Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people, in line with our commitment to their well-being.
Are You the Ideal Candidate?
We are looking for someone who embodies empathy and compassion, especially during the challenging night hours. Here’s what you’ll need:
* Ability to maintain accurate records using a computer.
* Knowledge of procedures for reporting missing persons.
* Effective communication skills for liaising with out-of-office support.
* Professional phone etiquette for handling calls and messages.
* A positive role model for both colleagues and residents.
