What is the job role?
Based at Plas Dol y Moch in Eryri (Snowdonia), N. Wales, to be a member of the Coventry Outdoors staff team delivering a range of Outdoor Education and Adventurous Activities, working with children, young people, schools, families and other key groups.
Experienced in the provision of Outdoor Education our Outdoor and Adventure Tutor will be required to plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality programmes and sessions to the wide variety of groups that visit our centre each year.
The Outdoor and Adventure Tutor will be expected to work both evening duties (with overnight on-call), and weekends.
Please note this is a 0.76 (28hrs a week) Fixed Term, Term Time only position covering a maternity leave period between January and July.
The post holder will be deployed during the typical school term, plus the first 2 weeks of the Summer holidays. The salary will be pro-rata, with additional increments for weekend working, and Stand-by allowance for evening duties.
