Job Overview:
You might know your ‘tik tok’ from your ‘Insta’, and your ‘stories’ from your ‘polls’, but we’re looking for much more! We’re after a conceptually-driven, social-first content creator to join our award-winning creative and digital agency. The ideal candidate will be a social specialist with 3+ years of experience in an agency environment, ready to inspire and contribute to our team.
We want a bold, brave thinker that isn't afraid to challenge the norm and is driven to push creative, social-first ideas. The ideal candidate can demonstrate a strong understanding of social audiences and the sub-cultures that define these groups.
Your role will involve creating conceptual, highly engaging, and social-first video content, whilst leveraging your experience to maximize engagement and return on investment for our clients.
You will also collaborate closely with the creative and digital teams within Cygnus. This collaboration is crucial to guarantee that all activities for our partners are executed to the highest standard, covering the full spectrum of activities from initial insight and strategy development to content scheduling, community management and reporting.
Key responsibilities:
* Developing conceptual ideas that leverage current trends and platform capabilities to strengthen and improve our creative output.

* Creating and planning social-first content, including storyboarding, pre-production, and on-site filming for clients.
* Creating final content using editing software like CapCut Pro, and show proficiency in After Effects or Premier Pro for post-production.
* A key element of this role is managing and delivering the logistics for weekly travel and onsite shoots, which will involve engaging with clients one-on-one.
* The day-to-day management of partner strategies, including generating, editing, publishing and sharing daily content to create meaningful engagement.
* To continuously look to improve the delivery of said strategies, by capturing and analysing the appropriate data, metrics and insight in which to act upon.
* Manage the daily, weekly, and monthly tasks associated with community engagement, content scheduling, and client performance reporting.
* Help with the delivery of insight and reporting of key metrics against social media strategy for clients.
* To communicate and demonstrate our social offering to new and existing partners, whilst supporting all departments within the agency, helping all our partners to achieve their social objectives.
* Ability to work with various individuals within the team to accurately scope and quote on projects.
* Management, development and creation of internal social strategies, company pages and content, with the goal of increasing engagement and repositioning our social identity.
Required knowledge, skills and abilities:
* To have a solid understanding of how all existing social media platforms work and how to create and optimise content designed to specifically support each dedicated platform and engage specific audiences.

* Execute and demonstrate a deep understanding of tailoring social media execution for different audiences, recognizing how factors like demographics, scale, and niche sub-cultures influence content strategy.
* Demonstrate delivery and experience in creating diverse, social-first video content for clients.
* Proven working experience of social media marketing, audience research, data driven analysis and delivery of ROI.
* Proven working knowledge of organic activations (Paid activations would be a plus).
* Demonstrate social knowledge and experience of using analytical social tools.
* Excellent communication skills at all levels, both within an agency, and client.
* Good written, editorial and presentation skills.
* Can distil complex constructs and information to key stakeholders.
* Passionate and engaged in social trends, platforms and culture.
* Self-disciplined and motivated, with excellent time management skills.
