Job Summary
We’re Hiring: Security Officer at Glenrothes, UK.
Pay: £13.45 per hour.
Hours: 56 hrs per week on average – 3 days, 3 nights, 3 days off. The role offers comprehensive training, mentorship and a range of benefits, including pay‑ISA and pension scheme.
Responsibilities
* Active patrols: regularly patrol designated areas to detect and deter suspicious activity.
* Thorough searches: conduct detailed searches following company policies and procedures.
* Detailed record‑keeping: maintain accurate records and complete necessary paperwork related to security incidents and observations.
* Effective communication: collaborate with colleagues, supervisors and external authorities to report incidents and coordinate responses to security issues.
* Exceptional customer service: provide outstanding service to employees, visitors and guests with professionalism and courtesy.
Qualifications
* Valid SIA licence.
* Physically fit for site patrolling.
* Flexibility to work days, nights and weekends.
* Right to work in the UK with a 5‑year checkable history.
* British nationality and UK residency for the past 5 years.
* Strong English communication skills – written and spoken.
