Catalyst are partnered with a prestigious law firm who are looking for a part-time L&D Specialist on a 12 month FTC to join their inclusive and forward-thinking HR team. This is a true learning and development partner role offering instant impact, with the opportunity to be closely involved in L&D projects and support the firm’s learning and development programmes.
Responsibilities:
* Set up and coordinate L&D activities and initiatives across the firm.
* Focus on personal skills and behaviour development initiatives.
* Define, support and advise on routes to achieving professional qualifications.
* Provide support via learning and development activities for new joiners to the firm, and those transferring roles within the firm, to enable them to learn efficiently and become embedded within their departments quickly and effectively.
* Taking account of the firm’s Best Practice Performance Standards, and the established career development pathways, provide L&D solutions for employees who are promoted into new roles.
* Manage and update the L&D page on the firm’s intranet, engage, with resources and L&D information. Promote the page across the firm as a ‘go to’ for L&D.
* Support and advise on Apprenticeship programmes
* Develop new, and leverage off of, own network of external L&D suppliers.
Experience:
* Experience working in L&D or a HR team, ideally within professional service.
* Preferably 5 plus years experience
