Research Programmer Bright Purple is working in close partnership with one of the worlds most innovative tech companies. A household name, their products are used by hundreds of millions of people. We are looking to recruit an exceptional Research Engineer for their new Edinburgh RD centre which forms part of the £3 billion they have committed to their British research operations. Their team of 30 world-class research programmers are carrying out cutting-edge research and prototyping of new compilers, languages and frameworks to drive their work in AI, deep learning, and high performance computing. They need exceptional people who have experience in areas like designing new features for existing Open Source software; made significant contributions to compiler codebases; or those who have a distinguished academic career in a relevant area.
