The Tenancy Services Manager is responsible for the delivery and coordination of tenant services, ensuring effective planning and management of resources to deliver excellent customer service. This role involves operationalising policy changes, ensuring compliance with housing standards, and leading a team to achieve high performance and tenant satisfaction.
Role responsibilities and main duties
Supported by the Landlord Services Lead, lead the operational delivery and co-ordination of a highly visible, proactive and preventative tenant services, meeting the needs of all tenants across a broad spectrum of operational activity, ensuring effective planning and resource management to deliver excellent customer service through well trained motivated staff.
Working with the Landlord Services Lead, providing oversight and leadership to the teams of Area Housing Managers and other staff to ensure staff are working in line with all regulatory aspects of the Social Housing Regulation Act 2023 and the Regulator of Social Housing's Consumer Standards.
Work with tenants, internal and external stakeholders, to oversee the co-production, development and implementation of policies or procedures required in order to deliver the national policy and statutory outcomes and expectations.
Ensure all operational activity is compliant with the housing standards through monitoring of performance, identification of improvements required and implementation of any required changes.
Building and maintaining effective partnerships with key external stakeholders across the public service system including adult social care and children's social care, in order to continuously improve the operations and support provided to tenants.
