SEN Resource-Base Teacher (Primary)

Are you passionate about helping children with additional needs thrive in their learning? We’re looking for a dedicated SEN Resource-Base Teacher to join our inclusive, forward-thinking primary school in East Birmingham.
The Role
* Teach in our on-site resource base, supporting pupils with SEN (e.g. SEMH, autism, learning difficulties).
* Plan and deliver adapted lessons to meet individual needs and drive progress.
* Lead and co-work with experienced SEN Teaching Assistants.
* Contribute to assessments, EHCP reviews, and progress tracking.
* Work closely with parents, external agencies, and the wider school team.
* Promote inclusion strategies and best practice in SEND.

About You
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Experience (or clear interest) in working with children with SEN.
* Ability to adapt curriculum and differentiate effectively.
* Strong behaviour management, patience, and resilience.
* Excellent communication with children, parents, and professionals.
* Commitment to inclusive education and continuous improvement.
