Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team and play a key role in delivering a diverse range of construction projects. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing the financial and contractual aspects of construction projects from pre-construction through to final account. The Role
As Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for:
* Managing all commercial and contractual aspects of construction projects.
* Preparing cost plans, budgets, and cash flow forecasts.
* Procuring subcontractors and negotiating terms and rates.
* Preparing and issuing subcontract documentation.
* Assessing and processing subcontractor applications and payments.
* Valuing variations and change orders.
* Preparing interim valuations and applications for payment.
* Monitoring project costs, risks, and profitability.
* Producing cost reports and presenting findings to senior management.
* Managing final accounts with clients and subcontractors.
* Identifying and mitigating commercial risks.
* Supporting project teams with commercial advice and guidance.
* Building strong relationships with clients, consultants, and supply chain partners.
What We’re Looking For
Essential Skills & Experience
* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry.
* Strong knowledge of standard forms of contract, including JCT and NEC.
* Excellent commercial awareness and cost management skills.
* Experience in subcontract procurement and contract administration.
* Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
* Strong negotiation and communication skills.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant commercial software.
* Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline (preferred).
