The Digital Pathology Product Specialist EMEA is responsible for working collaboratively with the Digital Pathology Business Unit to review and maintain instrument quality reporting, serve as a Qualified Trainer for the products supported and provide 2nd level escalation support leading the activities and coordinating with other internal teams such as the Business Unit, within the remit of Digital Pathology product lines. Working with broad cross-functional teams across EMEA ensuring large complex implementations at direct & in-direct customers are achieved on time with maximum efficiency. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Provide advanced remote and on-site escalation support of Digital Pathology products to the EMEA Selling Units, including leading the activities and coordinating with other internal teams such as Selling Unit (SU) 2nd Level Support and the Business Unit (BU) with the objectives of minimizing customer downtime and generating revenue opportunities, communicating trends and correct parts issues Support large complex implementations and customers within direct and in-direct regions. Provide proactive technical support through dissemination of technical memos, bulletins, and related information, as well as recurring Service Excellence calls including trends, upcoming changes, and sharing of best practices Work collaboratively with product management, R&D, manufacturing and other relevant BU departments to review and maintain instrument quality reporting. Proactively identify declining quality trends and develop potential countermeasures Responsible for working with key internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues, assisting with training and mentoring team members to improve overall performance of EMEA SU Service Organization The essential requirements of the job include: Field Service Engineering experience with an Associate degree OR equivalent technical work experience. Preferred knowledge of the diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of Leica Biosystems digital Pathology instruments. Time Management and productivity efficiency with service call handling Professional with strong technical acumen - analytical with the ability to understand complex system operation and troubleshooting Proficiency with test equipment used in field service support Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: Travel: Must be able to travel approximately 50% of the time, this will vary depending on requirements.
