Our client, a leading Technology Services Consultancy, is seeking a director-level lawyer to join their in-house legal team. In this role, you will manage a team, serve as the escalation point for complex contractual and commercial matters, and negotiate with their largest customers and technology suppliers.
Our client is globally recognised as being at the forefront of new technology and regularly provides services in the field of SaaS & Data Licensing, API Development, Robotics & Automation, Digital Transformation Cybersecurity, Cloud Services, IT Infrastructure (Migration & Integration) & Managed Services.
You will deliver business-focused solutions, acting as a strategic legal and deal advisor and partner directly with the business, to assess and understand how risks can be managed and mitigated, while advising on deal structure and strategy. Your role will involve:
* Leading negotiations for multi-million pound cross-border complex technology-based contracts for software implementation and application management services, including regularly facing off with client legal teams and their external counsel.
* Advising the Business on potential pitfalls in design, build and run/operate proposals.
* Primarily providing support during the sales cycle from supporting the engagement teams with their responses to tenders and bid response development to negotiating contracts for services.
* Review and negotiation of engagement contracts across Consulting and MSAs/framework agreements including direct discussion with clients and their legal advisors.
* Working closely with the business to discuss and develop commercial offerings as they move to a more innovative way of pricing their services.
Must haves!
Qualified lawyer with 10+ years of experience, advising on large, complex technology agreements.
