Purpose of the role
Are you passionate about developing people and driving impactful learning initiatives? We are seeking an experienced Learning & Development Partner to join our HR Support Services team at our Head Office in Solihull (B37 7YB), with UK travel required. You will play a key role in delivering our training strategy, ensuring compliance, and supporting growth across all organizational levels.
This role offers an opportunity to shape the future of learning at Colas, collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners to build capability and support career development.
Main Responsibilities
Work with business leaders to identify and prioritize training needs, manage training requests, support the implementation of the L&D strategy, design and deliver leadership programs, evaluate training effectiveness, manage relationships with training providers, support apprenticeship and graduate programs, and maintain training matrices aligned with the Learning Management System. Contribute to continuous improvement of L&D processes, systems, and policies.
Ideal Candidate
Minimum CIPD Level 3 qualification in Learning and Development, proven experience in a consultative or specialist L&D role, strong understanding of the full learning cycle and talent development, excellent organizational and stakeholder management skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office and Learning Management Systems, experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of apprenticeship schemes and industry training standards is desirable; experience in construction or industrial sectors is a plus.
