Account Manager – Electronics Manufacturing
Location: Ipswich | Contract: Permanent | Salary: £35,000 - £40,000

One of our clients is a well established UK electronics manufacturing business, looking to appoint an Account Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of existing customer accounts.
This is a commercially focused, client-facing role sitting between customers, engineering, and operations, with responsibility for ensuring orders are delivered on time, to specification, and to margin.
Responsibilities
* Manage and develop existing customer relationships (no cold sales!)
* Act as the main commercial point of contact for assigned accounts
* Handle client enquiries, quotations, and proposals
* Coordinate internally to ensure delivery, quality, and cost targets are met
* Support margin optimisation and account growth opportunities
* Attend and contribute to client review meetings
About you
* Ideal candidates will have experience as an Account Manager within electronics manufacturing / EMS / CEM
* Confident communicator with customers at all levels
* Commercially aware with strong organisational skills
* Comfortable working with technical teams and manufacturing environments
* Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple prioritiesWilling to travel occasionally within the UK
* Qualification in HNC or higher in a relevant engineering discipline is preferred.
