Driver Hire Bournemouth and Salisbury are now offering an exciting and flexible temporary opportunity for a delivery Van Driver in Poole. For this role, you will be delivering goods in the local area. 8-15 drops is the typical amount of drops per day.
Position: Van Driver (Category B)
Days: Monday – Sunday (flexible)
Start date: ASAP
Location: Poole
Pay Rate: £13.68 (daytime) – £15.69 (weekends). Holiday Pay Advanced.
The successful Van Driver will have:
1. experience in delivering using 3.5t vehicles
2. a valid UK Category B driving licence (max. 6 penalty points)
3. own reliable transport to travel to work
4. good customer service skills
5. physical fitness and familiarity with loading and unloading in a safe manner
Responsibilities:
6. adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations
7. maintain cleanliness and organisation of the vehicle
8. provide excellent customer service during deliveries
9. safely operate our client’s vans to deliver goods
10. load and unload goods from the van, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
11. follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the dispatcher
