Directorate

We’re looking for two skilled and committed professionals to join our Academic Continuation and Conduct & Complaints Teams, to deliver high-quality student casework services that directly support students across the University.

This is a pivotal role at the heart of our student experience. You’ll support a defined portfolio of student casework including student and applicant complaints and appeals, extenuating circumstances, academic misconduct, student disciplinary, fitness to practise and study and student change of circumstances requests. You’ll provide frontline advice to students and staff and ensure cases are handled with consistency, compassion, and regulatory compliance.

As a confident communicator and detailed-oriented administrator, you’ll bring clarity, consistency, and compassion to sensitive processes. You’ll work closely with colleagues across the University and the Students’ Union to support students through challenging circumstances. You’ll also contribute to institutional learning by monitoring trends and supporting continuous improvement.

What you will be doing:

1. Support and make routine decisions for a defined portfolio of student casework.
2. Providing frontline advice and guidance to students, staff, and other stakeholders.
3. Recording, supporting, and carrying out a range of tasks to deliver established casework processes.

Qualifications/ experience:

4. Experience of working in an administrative role.
5. Experience of minute taking.
6. Level 2 qualification, such as GCSE - grades 3, 2, 1 or grades D, E, F, G or equivalent experience.
