What You Will Be Doing
Our Installations department provides crews, equipment and travel support across all Wasserman customer sectors. This is a busy and diverse department with installations occurring everyday throughout the UK, Europe and the rest of the world. As Logistics Manager, Installations you will oversee the Install department. You will be responsible for the organization of staff and suppliers, to achieve “Right First Time” Installations that are within budget and adhere to all required Health & Safety guidelines and procedures. This is across the full variety of Wasserman clients and markets. You will manage the Logistics Executives and work closely with Project and Account managers; all Operations staff, a huge array of suppliers and other employees of Wasserman Live located across different offices in the UK and abroad.
Responsibilities
* Managing department workloads and staff.
* Booking installation requirements: crew, vehicles, equipment, travel, accommodation.
* Purchase order and invoicing management.
* Sourcing and managing suppliers; maintaining relationships and their H&S documentation.
* Understanding and managing risk.
* Creation and distribution of briefing and H&S documentation.
* Issue resolution and review, following non-conformance processes.
* Equipment and sundries management, maintenance, inspections and stock control.
* Data capture, management and reporting on department performance.
* Liaison with production and account teams to ensure timely availability of graphics for all installations.
* Working with various internal teams to identify and implement improvements.
* Tendering and project planning.

* Experience managing a team, keeping others motivated, engaged and on task.
* Good computer skills, particularly with Excel and the MS Office suite.
* A stickler for processes, great attention to detail, to ensure right first time.
* You will take pride in your work, remaining focused, calm and motivated.
* Extensive knowledge of installation processes.
* Able to report and provide precise information for management on request.
* Previous working experience within an events or installation role.
* Health and Safety trained.
