Job Title: QTS Secondary teacher
Location: Staffordshire - WS12
Pay rate: £110 to £160 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time
GSL are looking to appoint a committed Secondary Teacher to join a caring and ambitious school community in Staffordshire – WS12. This is an excellent opportunity for those who enjoys helping young learners take the next step in their education.
As a Secondary Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality lessons and maintaining a positive classroom culture. This post is ideal for an experienced teacher or someone who is growing in their teaching career and wants to develop further.
Responsibilities of the Secondary Teacher:
* Teach engaging lessons that support student progress across the curriculum.
* Work closely with the pastoral and academic team.
* Use a range of teaching methods to support different learning needs.
* Monitor attainment and provide effective feedback.
* Create a safe and productive classroom environment.
* Build confidence and resilience in students.
* Take part in school initiatives and collaborative planning.
Requirements of the Secondary Teacher:
* QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is essential.
* Good communication and mentoring skills.
* Ability to motivate and support pupils of all abilities.
* Strong classroom organisation and planning skills.
* A positive approach to teaching and learning.
* Enhanced DBS or willingness to apply.
