We are seeking an enthusiastic, organized, and skilled communicator to join th e Operations Support Team as a Faculty Operations Manager. The successful candidate will oversee critical operational functions within the Faculties, including HR, finance, facilities, and equipment. You must be an experienced line manager with strong leadership abilities and the capacity to guide and support your team through periods of change and development. We are particularly interested in candidates with project management experience. THIS POSITION IS OPEN TO BOURNEMOUTH UNIVERSITY STAFF AND AGENCY STAFF CURRENTLY WORKING AT BOURNEMOUTH UNIVERSITY ONLY. This post is available for up to 12 months on a fixed-term contract or secondment basis to provide maternity cover for an established member of staff. About the department Directly supporting the three academic Faculties, the Faculty Operating Service (FOS) plays a pivotal role in fostering collaboration between Faculties, other Professional Services and the broader BU community. The FOS maintains a strong compliance and governance and delivering an exceptional student experience through continuous service improvements, efficient processes, and effective communication. As a key member of the Operations Support Team, you will support and enhance the academic environment by providing operational expertise, guidance, and services to staff, students, and PGRs, ensuring alignment with BU's strategic objectives.
