We have an exciting opportunity for a Management Team Secretary to join our team within the Surgical Division.
The successful candidate will provide an efficient and effective support service by delivering a comprehensive, confidential secretarial and administrative service across the full range of the Management Team.
This will include the production of letters and reports, drafting routine correspondence, collating information as required, managing diary commitments, and scheduling meetings. The post holder will liaise with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, including NHS colleagues and external partners, to ensure that Management Team business is effectively progressed.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the Management Team.
Produce letters, reports and routine correspondence.
Collate information, manage diary commitments and schedule meetings.
Engage with internal and external stakeholders to progress Management Team business.
Person Specification
Knowledge
* Good organisational skills
* Ability to work on own initiative
* Prioritisation of workloads and managing time effectively
* Knowledge of full range of administrative skills
* Proactive and constructive approach
Qualifications
* Good general education including English GCSE at grade C or above (or equivalent)
* RSA III text processing/word processing or equivalent
* NVQ in Administration
* European Computer Driving Licence
* CLAIT
Further Training
* Willingness to undertake further training as required
* PAS training
Experience
* Secretarial experience
* Use of word processing and spreadsheet packages
Working to high standards of accuracy under pressure and adhering to strict deadlines
