Senior Service Advisor - Automotive Dealership Location: Newbury, Berkshire Type: Permanent, Full-Time Salary: £26,000 - £35,000 OTE (Uncapped) Overview An exciting opportunity has arisen with a reputable and well-established automotive dealer group based in the South of England. They are currently seeking an experienced and customer-focused Senior Service Advisor to join their aftersales team at their busy Newbury location. This is a key role within the service department, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys delivering a high level of customer care. Key Responsibilities Serve as the main point of contact for customers requiring vehicle servicing, maintenance, or repairs. Maintain consistent and professional communication between the customer and the workshop team. Prepare job documentation and maintain accurate customer records and follow-up systems. Provide customers with cost estimates, updates on progress, and notify them promptly upon job completion. Accurately process and invoice warranty and goodwill claims in line with company procedures. Present and explain invoices to customers, ensuring full understanding and timely payment. Monitor job status in the workshop and communicate any delays to customers. Support technicians with customer-related queries, offering guidance on mechanical or diagnostic concerns. Candidate Profile Proven experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within an automotive service environment. Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to meet deadlines. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. High attention to detail and a commitment to quality. IT literate with the ability to quickly learn in-house systems.
